The Arc of Robert
This is the true story of Prince Robert. A gold hand came out of the heavens and touched Robert on the forehead at the age of eighteen. This event lead to a greater relationship with God and a greater spirituality.

The True Story of His Majesty King Alford Grant Sr. and Her Majesty Queen Birdie Grant
The True Story of His Majesty King Alford Grant Sr. and Her Majesty Queen Birdie Grant
Dad would go to work and mom would start cooking early in the morning. About twelve o’clock mom would say, “I’m putting a slice of cake and pie out for Santa Clause.” When we woke up in the morning the cake and pie was gone. Mom was baking turkey and all the Christmas trimmings. Pastries, eggnog, milk, coffee, and spirits for our company. Our family of ten, friends and relatives were served breakfast, dinner and supper. The following food was served at our banquet: turkey, ham, goose, duck, roast, pigeon, bear meat, cranberry sauce, corn bread, biscuits, French bread, baked and mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, tossed green salad, African American potato salad. For dessert we had several cakes, pies, a large peach cobbler, ice cream and coffee.
We had friends come up from the Bay Area to visit their relatives. We’d gather for entertainment listening to Dianna Ross and Barry Gordy Motown. We had great fun dancing.
We had similar dinners for Thanksgiving and New Years celebrations. Dad would shoot the gun high in the air for New Years. This was 1950’s and ‘60’s when you could still do that. I remember really enjoying watching the Rose parade with my family. It was a big event to find out who the Queen of the parade would be. I thank my father and mother for being good parents.
